If I know of an article and need to find it, how do I do that?

Answer

If you have the citation information for the article there should be a publication, journal, or periodical title in this information. The publication title is usually italicized in most citation formats like below:

Citation format example.

Using this example you would then search our online journal listings using the title "Journal of Communication". If we have the journal there will be a find online link. Click on the find online link and it will list the years available.

Make sure that the year of the article falls within the years we have available and then click on the database link to bring up that journal in our online database. From there you will be able to search that journal using the article title to get the article.
