Where can I find career information in the library?

Answer

Searching for career information can be a little tricky. When Library catalog for books on careers you might start with general search terms such as "business careers". Most of our books will discuss many different job titles for individuals with a Business-related degree using this search.

When searching a library database for articles, have a specific job title in mind. "Auditor" or "financial planner" will work better in the library databases than "business careers". You will also want to combine your job title with other phases such as "employment growth" or "career trends" to find articles about the career aspects of your chosen profession.

For information on potential databases or websites to use for career information go to the career information section of the BUSM 10000 library guide.
